Eric E.Cohen | CPA, is an audit technology futurist. The author of some of the first articles and books on the relevance of the Internet for accountants, an original founder of XBRL, and a national representative to numerous international standards organizations in areas such as audit data standardization, blockchain and cryptoassets, generative AI, and sustainable finance, Mr. Cohen is best known for his vision for a seamless and standardized audit trail for business data, both financial and non-financial, qualitative and quantitative. He has advised and participated in the ESG taxonomy development efforts of many of the major sustainability framework developers.
